Can someone tell me the best way to hook-up a sytem using these 2 dishes with 1 receiver, meaning 1 line into the house? Like can a 2x1 be used with the 500 and go into the LNB input of the 1000.2 and then another switch out to receiver? Or just use like a 8x1 (using 5 inputs and out to receiver)
Suggestions please,
Thanks

If you try to run the 500 thru a switch into the 1000.2, the switches in both dishes will conflict. You can run an output from each dish into the the SW21 and out to the box and it will work. Put 110 on port 2, 119 on 1, 129 on 3, 91 on 1 and 82 on 2.

I might add with a sw21 you have to use both diseqc and legacy sw21 settings for each sat. llwest is rite on a sw21 is the best option for your setup
