82.0w Nimiq 4 , Cannot find any active BEV Tp in Canada?

Hello all,

Just wondering what is up with 82w.

Im here in Canada , so the footprint Is no issue.

I have 91w locked on a double LNB Dish set up and cant seem to find any trace of Nimiq2/4 for the HD stuff.

I have a clear view and can lock any other bird in no time at all, 91, 101,119,110 they all lock in.

Checked lyngsat and went though all the TPs , moved around with 2 dishes, 18" and 20" no luck.

Does any one have any ideas? Yes I am using the 8PSK adapter and I can see a few HD channels that are on DISH right now.

you need an hd receiver with 8psk installed to get 82 tp's

Im using the Nfusion HD box with the 8psk even the NON 8psk transponders have no Q.

I am getting some Signal strength in the 80s but ZERO Q

you might be to far ut of the footprint!!!
its hard to find it....try 129 instead

I am in Toronto Canada, where Bell HD is sold.

I figured out the problem

BEV is using TURBO 8psk now, not 8psk

I dont think Nfusion has a TURBO 8psk option :cry:

I don't have an HD receiver but when I setup 91w for my solaris I used a little skew
and locked in 82w. I did a scan and i do get a few channele on the channel list.

Most are HD but there are a few SD.

I am in North east usa so I don't know why you cann't get is, Check your LNB setting.
Also try switching cable on your LNB maybe one Eye is bad ?

can you tell me which TP you have S and Q on in SD

When was the last time you checked btw

I can tune in 91 on both my LNBs
